Are you a passionate Psychology graduate eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students? Join our dynamic team as a Psychology Graduate Learning Mentor based in Newham! This role offers a unique opportunity to work within our inclusion unit, supporting students in overcoming challenges, managing behavior, and thriving academically.
As a Psychology Graduate Learning Mentor, you'll be at the forefront of providing invaluable support to students in various aspects of their academic and personal development journey. Your responsibilities will include:
🤝 Offering one-on-one support and counseling to students within the inclusion unit, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
🔍 Managing challenging behavior effectively, employing psychological techniques and strategies to promote positive outcomes.
💬 Providing guidance and mentorship to help students navigate through difficulties and develop coping mechanisms.
📚 Assisting students with their transition back into mainstream classes after expulsion, ensuring a smooth and successful integration process.
🎓 Supporting students academically, helping them with their studies and providing additional resources as needed.

Requirements:
🧠 Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
🤝 Experience working with students with behavioral challenges or in a similar support role.
💼 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
📚 Understanding of counseling techniques and strategies.
🎯 Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
Location: Newham, London Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
