Tradewind are currently searching for compassionate teachers, like yourself, to teach in one of Tradewinds esteemed primary schools in Manchestser. This full-time, long-term position is for an SEND Year 1 Teaching Assistant and is set to commence September 2024 with the possibility of extension for the next academic year.

The daily rate is between £83 - £90 per day, dependant on experience.

About you:

The successful Teaching Assistant will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-achieving class. Additionally, you will collaborate with the class teacher to support the academic progress of children with additional needs, both in group settings and one-to-one.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment
• Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum
• Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons
• Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect
• Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent references showcasing previous experience in KS1/KS2
• Full employment history
• The legal right to work in the UK
